Hello Cupid PA users’

Based on feedback and usability studies, we have a new feature that will enable you to discover alternate plans and ideas, just a click away!

When you go to the date planning page, you will now automatically see additional links under the plan title. An example of this is the “plan ideas” feature which lists other plan ideas that may be of interest to you.

For example, if you selected a date plan with comedy club theme, then maybe you are also interested in a dinner date with music, or perhaps a dinner cruise date. Just clicking on the plan ideas links takes you to the new plan (with all the constraints such as city and time retained). This should help you navigate through ideas quickly.

Another related feature is the “more cities” feature that may show up for your plan - by clicking on a city of interest, you can review the same plan but in the selected city. We are still in the process of adding in more cities around the main metros. The city recommendations are also tuned to the type of plan you have chosen.

We wanted to alert you about an useful feature that will simplify your planning.

You often want to plan your activities with your tailored interests.

Rather than including that in the planner search each time, you can just go to the preferences link - this takes you to your preferences page where you can specify and save your preferences - such as what restaurant cusines you like, or what activities you prefer.

Once you save those preferences, next you can goto the planner, and just pick a event duration - such as a date, 1/2 day or full day. On the activity dropdown, you can just use the “Use my preferences” selection, and click on the search button to plan - Cupid PA will automatically use your preferences and recommend appropriate plans - making it much easier for you to plan at the click of a button!

Please try this feature, and give us feedback on what works or doesn’t.

What is CupidPA?

CupidPA is a “romantic” planning service with a mission to improve your romantic life.

When you join, you create a profile that summarizes your relationships and interests based on which CupidPA becomes your virtual assistant: to help plan your romantic events. Whether its spending a day in the city, or hiking at a national park, CupidPA simplifies event search, planning and management of those activities. CupidPA achieves this by leveraging structured content from all over the Web and making it accessible to the user, combined with advanced user modeling.

What is CupidPA Service?

CupidPA service helps you plan your activities ranging from individual activity to dates or weekends.

At the click of a button, CupidPA enables you to plan multiple events for a date, weekend or getaway. Simply choose the category (or preset your preferences for easy search), select the date and time and click “Plan for me” - voila - your plans appear. Select one to save and followup on. Its that easy - no struggling with multiple search engines and information hunting on the web.

CupidPA may help you save many valuable hours by keeping track of complex information from the web made accessible and easily available for you.

What categories of activities or events does CupidPA cover?

A variety of activities are supported: restaurants, music events, sports events, shows, movie theaters, comedy clubs, bars, adventures, city activities, museums, art events, cruises, nature, parks, hiking, farmers markets, local seasonal events (e.g. christmas lights) and many other activities. CupidPA uses proprietary patent pending technologies to extract matches based on your interest from tens of thousands of listings.

What types of multiple plans does CupidPA provide?

Plan solo events (i.e. select individual events like just restaurants or comedy clubs), or plan multiple events - a date with a romantic theme, or late night dining and dancing, or a half-day at the city. If you want to plan one or two day trips to a nearby winery, CupidPA at your service!

What cities or metropolitan areas are currently supported?
Currently the following major metropolitian areas are supported: San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, San Antonio, Las Vegas. More cities are being added, in addition to international regions.
